• Genetic Health Guarantee: We guarantee your puppy against severe, life-threatening hereditary or congenital defects for a period of 1 year from the date of adoption.

• Initial Wellness Window: We provide a 48- to 72-hour wellness window upon arrival for you to have your puppy examined by your personal licensed veterinarian to confirm their good health.

Your Responsibilities as a Pet Parent

To keep this guarantee valid and ensure your puppy thrives:

1. Initial Vet Exam: Take your new puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving them for an initial health check.

2. Routine Care: Maintain routine veterinary care, including required booster vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and proper nutrition.

3. Prompt Notification: If a licensed veterinarian identifies a covered health condition during the guarantee period, notify us via email within 48 hours of the diagnosis with official documentation from your vet.

What Is Not Covered

• Standard treatable conditions or common puppy stress symptoms resulting from travel/acclimation (e.g., minor hypoglycemia, parasites like giardia or coccidia, or mild kennel cough).

• Accidents, injuries, improper nutrition, or neglect occurring after the puppy has been delivered.

• Veterinary bills or medical costs incurred without prior written authorization from WaynePaws.
